Write few words to support skimboard Legend Chris Henderson

Chris Henderson is Victoria Skimboards World Champion 1978, 1980, 1984 and 1990. I was born in 1983, started skimboarding and watching videos with my brother in the early 90's. Chris was in these 10th Street bros videos with his noticeable super smooth and clean style. Really impressive in his wraps and frontsides. He'd go reach waves so far out. When I first went to Laguna Beach I got lucky to meet him and had few skim sessions with him (years after watching him on videos) and Chris is an awesome guy, down to earth and generous. He just had Micro surgery on his spine, down in the hip region. He has been MRI’ed recently and they discovered a growth on his spine. He has been suffering for years from a nearly paralyzing sciatic nerve condition that would agonize him almost daily and interfered with his sleep nearly every night. The surgery is going to be very expensive and he will have significant recovery time to deal with.
