We waited until late afternoon, but the wind was still strongly blowing from the right. Tide picked up though, so the waves were actually breaking closer offering a nice shorebreak to work with. Results announced last night at the local bar, in the Professional division Sammy Stinnet undeniably takes first place, he dominated the finals, skimmed really well.

I am stoked to have finished in the top 4, the level was really high. The locals are so talented here like Chopa, Guyavo, Tule, Tripas Fido and many more. Congratulations to my brother Nicolas who takes 3rd place in the Advanced division!!! We celebrated well last night with some Margaritas. Big up to Diego, Jorge and their friends for the organization. It was a great week end. This morning, we headed to Muertos for a little morning session. I got some good ones this morning. I've been feelin really good on the skimboard this whole trip, I m stoked to be here and well surrounded with my brother Nicolas, Diego, my friends from France, the locals and my teammates Brandon Rothe and Morgan Just. We're all having an awesome time.
